IMO, TA doesn't incorporate "shoulds" and "fluffs". If there were such a thing as you described, it would cease to be TA. It would also cease to be FA. It would become some sort of nontraditional hybrid.

Having said that, what you suggest needs to be done [if it hasn't already]...regardless of the labels that might be applied.
