Franz, I'm sure I'll take the plunge anyway with AAPL. But I do think this board should come together to try to do some channel checking, particularly re non-US sales. As far as Japan, I just want sales to be flat there. I assume that sales in the US and Europe will be up at least slightly, due to Christmas and the G3s. If Japan can hang in there, the quarter should be fine. If things perk up a bit in Japan, then Apple will look good. Historically Japan has always been very good for Apple. Oh, can't forget my pet theory that sales will be up due to lack of clone competition as well. Also, the G3s seem to be available in quantity, which amazes me considering the trouble they've had with hot new models in the last year or two. Marc
