I hope so. However, to set an example of what Freedom of Speech is, we shouldn't start the conversation by apologizing for it.

All we have done is shown the Muslims of the world that we fear them and that we'll enact laws like FISA and NDAA and we'll ask our private corporations to curtail freedom of speech to bow down to intolerant extremists. Our government, under Bush and Obama, has done a lot of damage to the values of this country, precedent, and to the Constitution.
