I read remember reading it traded more than all the shares combined on the NYSE that day.
Exactly number is unknown but it was huge.
I beleive somewhere over 600 million/shares .
Rumor had it that it all started from some rumor on the Motley Fool that they had this fingerprint device that Mastercard was going to use to solve a billion dollar/year card theft problem.

The stock soared from 1/32 to I beleive to $2.00 plus /share and was trading in lots of a 500 to as much as million share plus lots back and forth.

Was front page news in the Wall Street Journal for a good week.
