I'm in the market for $100 million via debt or equity: <
Since the U.S. is a dead beat, I'll loan it to a more reliable counter party

Secured too, so that's a lot better than the security offered by Big Ben which is a promise to dilute creditors by 10% per year, or only 5% if they are lucky, with no backing other than "In God We Trust", [no longer being "In Gold We Trust" since that promise was abrogated four decades ago], but with the added promise of Barack Obama and the Capitol Hill crowd who are surely good for their word [if one is very gullible, naive and foolish]. That is closely related to the schoolyard promise "Cross My Heart and Hope to Die" with fingers crossed behind back which absolves the promise of obligation [as though there was any obligation anyway].

On the other hand, Barack and Congress promises are backed by your earning capacity and willingness to pay, so heck, that's about as good as gold. [/sarc]
