9/18/2012-Innocence Of McMahon

By Bob Englehart 5:11 p.m. EDT, September 17, 2012

I just saw the footage from WWE that the Democrats are going to use against Linda McMahon. Holy drop kick, Batman. How vile. No, not the Democrats. All's fair in love and politics. I'm talking about the footage. I had no idea.

I've never seen that porn lite before. I once took my son to a WWF match back in the day for his birthday. My wife and I went to a match when football star Lawrence Taylor turned pro wrestler. I would never had gone to either one if they were doing soft core porn like they were doing when these videos were shot.

If I had my own blog, I'd just draw a cartoon of the male and female wrestlers doing some of the crap they were doing in the videos. I would need my own blog to get it published. I've been with The Courant long enough to know they'd never show that stuff on the editorial page. I was talking to the reporter covering the story and she said she was struggling with how to explain it in a family newspaper.

I've never seen anything from this era of WWE that's featured in the video. It's vile, and McMahon was right in the thick of it. This election, she's a Girl Scout? I don't buy it.

>> As long as Obama is better liked than GW, I am not worried.

Well, he clearly isn't "better liked" in those countries.

Dave, you're cherry picking. Look at the entire Pew Poll and you know that Obama is much better liked both at home and abroad.
