Re: Jeffrey MacDonald. He hired Joe McGinniss to write a book about the murders and tell his side. McGinniss did a thorough investigation and concluded that MacDonald did indeed commit the murders. The book, Fatal Vision lays out the case very clearly that he did it. MacDonald has managed throughout the years to attract people to his cause, usually people who are trying to get publicity for themselves. He's got another one who's trying to put forward the idea that DNA will prove he didn't do it. DNA, of course, wasn't available back then.
