Or you could choose to see this as political hay making, like I do. You probably noticed that I didn't crucify Obama for saying, "You didn't build that," like many GOP members did. It was haymaking and Obama didn't choose his words carefully. So I refuse to participate in that kind of silly season, to use an Obama phrase that I like. So your faux outrage is a little childish and immature if you ask me. Why don't you focus on the important issues instead of making political hay? Oh and no, I don't live in any of those red states below, although I grew up in Texas. However, it is been a few decades since I lived in Texas. I live in a swing state with a lot of other Independents like me, who also happen to be mostly fiscal conservatives.
