OK, let's talk about Iran:

We wait for the rest of the world leaders to join us to intervene in Iran. Iran with a nuclear weapon is much more dangerous to Europe, Russia and China than to us, so let them take the lead. If all four of us demanded Iran disarm, even after they get it they would, they will.

In sum, the smart play here, is to lead from behind, but NOT! get out in front.

I don't want war with Iran, but what if they get a nuclear bomb and that starts an arms race in the Middle East, ending with nuclear bomb bristling out of every radical Islamic Jihadist country? First off, Israel will be toast, which none of us want to see, but more importantly, the acquisition of the nuclear bomb by people who hate us with every fiber of their being is not something that we can allow. They can and will use those weapons against us. 9/11 was all we needed to learn about those people. They are fanatics and they will kill us if they get a chance.
