[manufacturing]

<<<How much manufacturing is there in San Jose? Gary Seamans said that most of Amati's manufacturing is done by third party. He seemed to indicate that those arrangements would probably would not change for current Amati product lines that Westell would take over per their agreement with TI.>>>>

You're right about the third-party manufacturing. At some point it all comes back to Amati and gets put together and tested. I know TI originally was going to keep R&D in San Jose and everything else would disappear. Now, they're talking about some of the manufacturing staying.

My point in all this Westell debate is not to say they're doing this or that but to suggest you question each claim specifically.

The same fount of truth who told you Westell had three significant contracts is now telling you TI's handing over the Allegro. For my money, I'd want the terms defined.

Just my take.
