Where do we go to get that done, say, on Monday?<< The whole idea is not that all these trades are accomplished on Monday - the arbitrage opportunity is entirely dependent upon the conversion (at .81988 Borland shares for each Visigenic share), when the deal is finalised sometime early next year. The existence of your "premium" is based on this as well, don't forget. hypothetical trades based on a mixture of bid/ask conversions, but it's not clear what that achieves My apologies for using closing prices on both sides of this deal. Careless. And none of this achieves anything except to point out what I originally wanted to draw attention to - the continued existence of a substantial differential; the BORL/OPEN deal had no such phenomenon. david
