jim, you can find no data to back up cpq had 70% of the sub 1k share "for the qtr"...
just another case of your misrepresenting the truth...
find it..not there...
hp and ibm are getting more of that market now not dell.
ibm had the problem and they are back.
and cpq had a blip month that was real high...not a whole qtr...
one stinking month...
go find me that the qtr was 70% cpq..
I wuld like to see that<ggggg>

Do not let that lying jerk confuse the issue. My comments were confined to the "subzero retail market" not the "home market". I will post the links when I have some time.

Where are you getting this information from? Packard has had these machines priced low for years now. So why wouldn't they have enuf product available?

HWP, by the time you price it, is $999 without a monitor, and you still have to upgrade the ram, this is not what I call a sub-zero. For a few hundred more, you can get a Dell.

When I went shopping for a computer, there was only 2 cpq's left. And I could of had my pick of HWP's. If price be the reason for buying this product, why would someone pay hundreds more? I think the cpq's are priced to take market share away from the others.
