Yes ... very hard to stay sexy in this world...but the cult is strong... will be interesting... My son just bought himself a little HTC Android.. amazing little thing.. better than my Google Android phone.. hardware and software.. only thing it doesn't have is an Apple Logo :O)

The Chinese Model will win. If we remember products of the past, they were made by craftsmen. The manufacturers were expert men. Electronic systems were analog. Required experts to build, test, maintain and repair. Look today. What do we have? We have manufacturing systems that produce cheap products. Good enough for a couple of years. Then we replace by a new one with price slightly higher but with lots of features. Experts aren't required to manufacture such products. Even if you buy a very expensive model are paying for a better design and more bells and whistles, say an iPHONE 5. You are not buying quality. China doesn't produce products that are renowned for higher quality. Neither are the westerner products. If you look to a western product, it is not built for better quality either. If you buy an appliance today, having in mind the ones you mother have and kept for ages, you're in for a bad surprise. You must have in mind an iPHONE and a laptop when buying anything today. The world do not have experts able to build, test, maintain and repair. They have nice blue prints and computer controlled machines and process deliver the final product. Add some clever marketeers to exploit the demand out there. The manufacturers -all schooled in exploit their customers in developed countries- use marketing to sell products as envrionment friendly since quality is not there. Experiment was in Canada and a friend told her the operator gives her a new Blackberry every year. But Canada yuou pay to recycle the junk afterwards. We all should buy Chinese products. You buy a Haier appliance and a Chery car and change them after 5 years.
