took me awhile to get to you.. had to refute jimbo's wild accusation tht cpq had 70% of the home market in 3q97... they don't have 70% of the sub k either. wild stories..i think he must have had his brain washed in compaqism for that to be true. even if that is in print..it's a lie. sarcasm..is that what they call old age and memory going and for the 12th time.. I don't get a thing off idc's website. it's part of all the news releases I get off quote.com how many times do i have to tell you this..I'm sure the thread is tired of hearing me say > I GET IT FROM QUOTE.COM. And, I said that our compnay went to the IDC office last 10 days..we have a huge amt. of stuff(including one of their 4 or 5k reports in detail from them now but we ain't spinging for all the big buck stuff since what I already get is enough... and your compnay doesn't spend 100k a month on research like this either...idc, datquest etc all combined like you are contending now. You just keep getting deeper and deeper<gg> pretty soon the bullsh-- wil be to your keyboard and you'll have to get voice recognition to keep winding your little tell.. Let, me give you a hint.. I use it all the time and it really helps.. I goof on posts, it's accidental and I'm not trying to lie to anyone. When i goof. I JUST SAY I GOOFED...AND THAT'S THAT. I don't keep defending it over and over again. I can find you a bunch of I made a msitake<ggg> posts on SI for my tenure here... it's the best way to handle it... but, then I don't expect you to listen.. i expect you to keep saying.."what website do you get your IDC from???????"
