I think most Republicans and Independents like me will tell you that we all believe in a safety net. But when it gets to the point that 50% of Americans are sucking off the government tit, then something has gone terribly wrong. Forget about right or wrong, it's just not sustainable. It has ALREADY bankrupted this country. We're already in a death spiral. Why do you think Bernanke has promised infinite money printing? It ain't cause things are looking good. And infinite money printing leads straight to Zimbabe and Weimar....no, we're not special. The US CAN'T defy the laws of mathematics.
