My friend just sold his recycling business to a US major and cashed out big time. The price he got for his operation was shocking... All from the scrap business...

Majors rolling up local mom and pops in an attempt to gain pricing power for the export market I guess.

no cost to recycle electronics here. Recycling basically extension of garbage pickup..

lots of items though have 'green' tax built in.. good.. never enough money to pay for politicians' pensions.. so in that sense yes we pay... and pay and pay
