I liked your point about recessionary behavior and the phase change dynamic, but with all due respect I'm not big on seeing what will be next year, never mind over the next ninety years.

I'm inclined to think that the disconnect that currently exists between developing and rich worlds** (both geographical and trans-societally, generally) will reach a crescendo stage far before 90 years from now, and resolve through all forms of constructive and destructive friction over a span of time.

And even if it doesn't work out exactly the way I've just outlined, our heirs and successors will adjust between now and 90 years from now, and to them it will seem like business as usual, only with new points of reference.
