"Hey folks, we're going to raise your taxes so we can make the rich richer, and old folks we're going to cut the benefits that you've paid for all your life, break the social contract, and you Moms we're gonna send your kids off to a new ME war, and you better not even think about getting an abortion!". True when you put it that way. lol But then he should have stopped being an R. Let's not forget that Romney doubled down on that platform by picking up Ryan. I'm sorry............I don't care what the GOP platform is.........there were much better picks than Ryan and who would have made the base happy. Romney may not even get WI out of the deal. A stupid move in my book. And let me add...........watch how little Romney is on the campaign trail. He's either at fund raisers or at home getting some R and R. He's MIA when he's supposed to be stumping. Meanwhile, Obama never took a vacation and has gone back and forth between the campaign trail and the Oval Office. You tell me who wants it more.

Thats a tough one. Romney would need to meet it head on. A fairer tax code would be to eliminate the tax dodges/deductions for the rich like foundations etc.and most all of them for the rest of us. Lower the rate for all income for the middle class to the same as dividends and capital gains to make up for the loss of deductions. Plus make it so most of the so called 47% would have to pay something, even if it's just a couple % at the low end. That's difficult though because a whole lot of people would get a "tax hike". So there in lies the rub. The screamers come out of the woodwork. If I was Romney I would concentrate on the creation of jobs and the economy. He needs a plan.
