Sooner or later all these gadgets become a common low margin commodity.

That said, AAPL has the most to lose, and I see the cracks in the dam.

Implementing a Focus Strategy ...

<< Hmmm... Notice that all of them, except Nokia, are also making Android phones. >>

You got it. Nokia isn't and won't be building Android based mobile wireless phones and tablets, and no amount of wishful thinking or Elop trash talking will change that.

<< And these many OEMs, unless WP8 numbers dramatically pick up, they'll be killing each other for the scraps... >>

Do you mean like over 40 OHA OEMs that are killing each other for the scraps left by Samsung and (to a considerably lesser degree) HTC?

WinPhone "numbers" WILL pick up. They started picking up when Nokia entered the game in focused fashion to jointly build with Microsoft a viable 3rd ecosystem.

<< I fail to see how is that any different for Nokia than Android... >>

¿You mean different for Windows Phone? Android is an OS and an ecosystem.
