I would be fine with the Buffett rule for higher income taxpayers. I believe it's a sliding scale up to 30% on income between 1 and 2 million, and 30% for income above that... Sounds fair to me and would not affect the vast majority of people. Funny thing is, lower income owners of capital assets might actually be better off under Romney if he got in and made good on his proposal to lower capital gains taxes to zero on those with incomes under 200k....
