Hi Richard,

Just be careful... there are all kinds of signals out there that the bottom is near... exactly where that is is anyone's guess... something YOU said a long time ago when this conversation started!

Regards,

Bill

Nothing that excites me more than a good ole fashion 'blood bath'. The North American Gold Mining Industry sure seems to fit the mold. Needless to say I'm getting excited just watching for now....but I going to take the plunge and start buying these up in 1998.

I've been watching ABX, AEM, AR, BMG, CDE, ECO, GGa, HM, NEM, NGC, PD, PDG, & SSC....since 1/2/97.

Are there any on my short list you would eliminate? If so why?

I've eliminated SSC & PD already...SSC because of capitialization and PD because It's already made a run with copper.

I see HM is at 5 year lows today....anybody want to give a perdiction on bottom? What's HMs' cash production cost per oz. of gold?
