>>> ...yet

Well... I've been hearing that... for a while now... so why don't you tell us the market share 12 months after WP8 release, huh??? And from where that will come... and don't bother for any prediction less than double digits (after all it had 5.1% in Q2'12), cause with 6-8 players in the WP8 field (maybe more?), single digits is going to suck....

TAIWANESE PHONE MAKER HTC's just announced Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S smartphones are already up for preorder in the UK.

That's thanks to SIM free retailer Unlocked Mobiles, which has revealed the surprisingly affordable prices of the two Windows Phone handsets. The HTC Windows Phone 8X is priced at £398.98, while the more affordable Windows Phone 8S costs just £224.98.

According to the retailer, the phones will shipping on 5 November and 15 November, respectively.

Announced yesterday, the HTC Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S are the firm's debut Windows Phone 8 handsets. The Windows Phone 8X is the more high-end of the two, featuring a 4.3in HD touchscreen, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 16GB of internal storage and an 8MP camera with HD 1080p video. It will be available in three different colours from launch - blue, black and yellow.

The HTC Windows Phone 8S also comes in a number of garish colours - grey/yellow, black/white, red/orange and blue - and unlike its higher end Windows Phone 8X sibling, it features a removable plate enabling users to expand its storage. There's also a 4in WVGA screen, a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 5MP rear-facing camera and integrated Beats Audio technology.
