There were ACTUALLY people on this thread -- you remember Michael, who four years ago thought Obama was a moderate! Even as it was pointed out to him time and again by me and others that the guy was an extreme left winger. The state of the electorate is such that to win both a primary and a general election every candidate must present himself differently within the scope of one year. That is a political fact of life for our presidential candidates. ALL of them. So, how do you hold it against one candidate and not the other. Romney has been fairly stable in his positions when contrasted with the candidate you supported in 2008.
