Elizabeth,
When you give a special interview to Investors Business Daily in order that the interview will be a special feature in their publication, that is as "public" as you can get, with the exception being the WSJ, Barron's, and CNBC. Considering the major funding of this project is taxpayers monies and it is not a national security project, why all of this secrecy. I'm sure that by using federal tax dollars, this would fall under the federal laws and the Open Records Act would apply.
I have a fairly open mind about most things. Could someone give me just one reason why JMAR would want to keep this a secret? Also, could someone give me just one reason as to why any corporation would not want their name associated with them watching a demonstration of another companies product. To suggest otherwise, is to imply that JMAR is going to give ONE company an exculsive right to use this product. I would be more inclined to think that JMAR would want ALL companies to know that they have a unique product. I've always operated on the assumption that..."greater the demand for your product, the higher the price you can charge for it". Secrecy doesn't help promote demand in my opinion.

Betty (and others who participate in both Cymer and JMAR thread) --

I see that you also attempt to respond to people in Cymer thread. Most of the folks there are very knowledgable and pleasant to converse with.

Unfortunately one person sours the thread by baiting JMAR people into responding to questions, and then bashing them for posting off-topic.

I won't mention names, but if you review the Cymer thread for the last day, you will know exactly who it is. I strongly suggest avoiding all conversation with that person since he obviously has another agenda.

The funny part about it is that I own more Cymer stock than he does <laugh>.

I bet that one person is the same person who made your life difficult several months ago when I remember you complaining about poor treatment in the Cymer thread.

I would think that if we are to get an XRL update soon, that this week might be a likely time with the SEMI Technology Symposium (STS) '97 happening from December 3-5 and the Equities Winter Conference this week as well.

Also, November 24 was the deadline for proposals for the next batch of DARPA Advanced Lithography funding, so decisions may be made soon for that.

I called the company today regarding the demo date and was told that someone would get back to me. No response as of yet.

I really don't care how, when, or where they do the demo but it would be nice to have a press release when it is done. It would certainly maximize shareholder value. If I were holding warrants and no announcement was made, I'd be pissed (upset).
