They are the ones who don't necessarily vote along partisan lines...otherwise known as swing voters...
The so-called "swing voters" are all over the place. But I think one thing they want to see is a true leader.

You can't really lead if all you're doing is trying to cater to whatever "swing votes" you think will win you a "swing state." It will backfire.

That's why I think Romney shouldn't back down from his criticisms of Obama's foreign policy, nor should Romney apologize for writing off those voters who will vote Democrat only to preserve whatever entitlements they get on a monthly basis. (Might not be 47%, but whatever.)

If he does because he's afraid of losing those "swing voters," he'll come off as a person with a very weak spine, and that would suit the Obama campaign just fine.
