Nokia Maps has certain advantages over Google Maps, and perhaps for some Google Maps has certain advantages over Nokia maps. They are both excellent products. With so many fantasic companies providing excellent mapping and navigation products, it is remarkable that Apple would foist an inferior, beta product upon their customers. Its unfortunate that war with Google takes precedence to customer experience. They could easily have waited until the product was polished and complete, and they had licensed or compiled quality maps, map data and imagery. But Apple appears to be in the business waging patent wars and of rolling out incomplete, beta quality software nowadays, and the hardware isn't showing much improvement.
