In a scenario where things are down worldwide, FedEx is down, Priceline is reporting a downdraft in their bookings, computer hardware companies reporting that corporations like Exxon etc. have deferred their refresh cycle of desktops etc. etc. In such a scenario, a contraction in fast growth companies like India and China is expected. India is growing through a similar cycle and the present Govt. is likely to go down (that in a country which is expecting a 5% growth instead of 9%, go figure).
