Jim, Super update on the Company's plans as we know them. I'd sure like to get a look inside the research lab to see how far along they are on the road to a capability for transmitting and breaking out the various spectra of light, a capability that will lead eventually to a proprietary WDM. BTW..I found the reference to the infamous Project CMR.. And I queried the source.. It was his "humorous" way to identifying the WDM project. CMR stands for "Climb Mount Rushmore".. a takeoff on the famous codeword for the attack on Pearl Harbor ("Climb Mt Fuji")...and offers a shorthand way to refer to the eventual WDM project. Good evening, Jim.. While I wait for this market to sort out, I'm back looking at getting a little smarter on TA.. As a discussion item, here's a thought or two about "RSI", which I like to use (Hope this works): e-analytics.com Am becoming more and more convinced that we are due some great growth over the next few years in the small company group. Good evening, Jim. With the holidays solidly passed, time to give a look at the investment scene again. Have you heard anything about the volume the Company is putting out as regards the UV Detectors? How about anything new regarding the WDM project? Have been getting in some golf... even am starting to get my new custom clubs to work..just needed to stand a bit closer and more upright. I have a new 3-wood and 5-wood, both overlength, on the way. Still can't break into the 70's, however... last scores were an 83 and an 82. (But had 5 penalty strokes on the 83, so perhaps the 70's are still a possibility).. Craig Crawford turned up a little company that produces a telecom product for use in fiber optics. The company is Laser Power, LPWR, and U. of CA, SD gave them a product of the year award for their microlaser.. I've tried to buy shares, but for some reason someone else always gets my shares <g>.. I'll likly still get some...and some APAT... but what a crazy market! my techs are getting killed (to put it mildly).. Hope you are surviving the market, and those cold temperatures :-) Cheers! Duane
