I dont doubt it, I won't be invested in any PC company when that happens so I'm not too concerned. Entry level corporate boxes are
already at $1000... but they're still not selling well.

You should be getting p266 machines for 1K very soon..
July of 98 when p450 is leading edge.

I told you so long long ago on this thread that ACER has done some studies and came to the conclusion that even with the selling price of $500, the box makers can still make a reasonable profit, and IDC finally realize that!!!! The idea of $500 PC was invented by ACER, and was in the Taiwan's PC market for a long time , and it is nothing new at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
