Yes it looks like a bottom around 12 3/8-1/2. On weekly data the next support would be around 11 1/2(which is also a fib retracement line) and then there is for me nothing at 10 but only at 9 which would be the complete round trip since end of april 1997 or - for historical perpective- a return to the price of Dec 1995. I think (hope?) this is unrealistic if we take into account that the company made some good progress in these 2 years.
I have to agree that ALL Moving averages are still pointing down and we're still almost at the edge of the lower Bollinger Band. Herbert OTTO is more a specialist with these whereas i'm still a beginner trying to put some experience behind all the book knowledge.
The NAZ futures are up big time this evening which let us hope for a grand post holiday opening. Hopefully LGND can take a little crumb from the table of the rich folks(DJIA) and close up. Maybe up a full point would be good...but i guess i'm dreaming...

Stefan

<<(which is why I'm still bearish).>>

I just got lost in Cheryl's forest again, so I'd appreciate elaboration:: Ligand trades slightly heavy in the short session, and finishes up a tick. Where's the bearish signal?
