Am in court yard poolside tall table of nice little oasis in Manila, ipad around, mango shake at hand, three varieties of homemade Italian sausages standing by. Our little hole in the wall 46 rooms hotel now boosts the #1 Italian restaurant in manila and this night serves full house of 180 covers. Movie stars, politicians, and what be known as the a/b class of Manila. When we first took charge of the lease hotel we got a 2-star. Now we have a hotel of 3-star rooms, 4-star ambiance, 5-star restaurant, and 6-star crowds. Interesting that the minute we got on the a/b lists' map, the police started to take very good care of our little enterprise; presto, hawkers gone, area cleaned up, parking became secure, and riffraff no longer hang about. Eye opening. The experience has been very educational for me. Shall have Erita serve tables here soon enough over a school break. Re qe, the ultimate outcome is already in the process of coming to term. There can be no exit except the exit. as long as qe8 is full-on, we must be all-in, for qe8 shall result in undeserved redistribution and we best be receiving rather than giving. It is not right, but we did not give rise to qe; we simply must survive qe8.
