Edwin OT (IRA and other stuff)

Yes, I can see the lake. I'm up on a pretty high hill overlooking the state park. It's very pretty right now with the leaves and all and I do get great TV reception.

Possibilities for IRA I found: LLY (Lilly), JNJ (Johnson & Johnson), MER (Merrill Lynch) F (Ford?), C (Chrysler), DIS (Disney), K (Kellogs), KM (KMart), MCIC (MCI). These are at nice support levels. If you could get NE at 25-28, I'd buy it and I don't think it's finished going down yet (sorry Eddie). Also INTC is sitting on a nice support level right now - looks poised for an up move - if you can stand the volatility. Don't forget that late 1998-1999 and beyond should be great for INTC with the Merced introduction and other things. COMS also looks attractive now. CSCO looks a bit high but if you don't have that, you should. Also LU (Lucent) , TLAB (Tellabs) QCOM (Qualcomm), and ATI (Airtouch Communications) are possibilities. I'm about to roll out our firm's 1997 profit sharing contribution to my IRA and am going to probably buy some RMBS and some CSCO with it.

Good luck.
