PAYGO is the law. You have to have offsetting increases for any tax cuts, just as you have to have offsetting tax cuts for any tax increases. That's why Romney used different language on the "60 Minutes" interview. Now he says there will be (offsetting) reductions in allowable deductions, with a framework (copying Obama) that there will not be any increase for the Middle Class. Scott Pelley forgot to ask what is Middle Class?

I understand the concept of paygo. I don't understand how Americans can buy off on the concept of cutting the taxes for the rich even more.
