Robert, there are those who have been dragged along by the Java bandwagon, those who understand it, and those who are truly ignorant. Unfortunately you fall into the latter category. Why don't you take some time to compare your beloved COM/VB and Java/Beans first before spouting off that this is all some mindless bandwagon Let's see. I've spent the last 8 months working on a project in both COM and JavaBeans. I know Java quite well, as well as JavaBeans. Tell me what I know, so you look loke more of an idiot. I have built several succesful applications using COM components. If all you know about COM is what you see through VB, then you are truly the ignorant one. COM though VB does suck - unless you know what you are doing. Obviously you have a personal hatred against MS. That's OK, I can understand that. If you want to think you know COM and Java better than me, that's OK too if it makes you feel better about yourself.
