Yeas, I do work there. We have a project right now which is being developed in parallel in Java/JavaBeans and COM. I'm sure you can guess which side I work on :) Anyway, I don't hate Java, but I understand it's limitations, which there are many. The project we are working on is 3D graphics, which Java doesn't have a solution for (yet - Java3D coming soon). It is very performance oriented, which is also a problem in Java. Why are we doing a Java solution? People are asking for it. Do I think it will succeed 12-18 months down the line. I think so, I certainly hope so.
