It appears to me that the K6* will continue to be competitive with the PII of the same clock speed, even more so as the + version and 100 mHz bus become available.

Presumeably the K7 offers performance beyond that of the K6; just how it stacks up against PII and Willamette remains to be seen.

BTW does anyone know who is going to be making the chipsets for the K7 slot 1 motherboards?
