Re: 11MM Remember, Spank, that IOM does not count the number shipped,

but the number sold. It is easier to predict the number shipped than sold for obvious reasons. The 11 millionth probably didn't sell during Comdex as there were 300,000 people that know how great Zip is attending the show, and could not get to a store.

Cut the Doctor some slack. He obviously isn't the CFO or likewise (as he wouldn't be on the thread if he was). He's probably just a very happy Iomega employee (and owner).

One more thing about the split and the upward momentum . . .

You all know how careful KE has been about hype since the debacle last year. Taking that into consideration, do you really think he'd split the stock unless he was VERY positive about earnings, today and in the future?

Also, I know I posted this before, but it bears repeating:

Iomega is practicing Marketing 101 to perfection. If there's ever a need to lower prices, they will. But, there's no reason to do so now and they are reaping the benefits of increased production/lower costs to help all of us become rich off their greater sales/profit margin.

My only advice to any of you: be careful about selling any of your stock. You may never get a chance to buy it back at the same level.
