tim, funny thing is... taiwan doesn't need to make money on dram. they can just raise taxes b/c the govt is in this all the way. they view it as a welfare - but very productive welfare. a jobs program if you will.

they do need to make sure they don't dump so they can sell at cost - meaning no profit for just about everyone that wants to play.

geez, i'd like it if our jobs progams broke even in the states. ;-)

hey, this new slew of dumping charges by mu will accomplish one thing. NOBODY WILL EVER HOLD BACK INVENTOEY B/C THEY CAN NEVER GET RID OF IT ALL ;-) that is why they are selling so cheap. they MUST dump the inventory that was the direct cause of mu's recent profits.
