DH, Re: Since most individual stocks are market-driven at the moment, the use of candlestick patterns which would normally have a high probability of success (in an up market) is inappropriate at the present time- Dave I think you have made a good point here. I hope more candlestick aficianados will turn their talents to the indexes, and give their analysis here on the thread. I feel there is a lot of promise using candlesticks analysis with the indices to predict short term market moves. Esteban
