Last week the New York Times polling guru Nate Silver tweeted, “The. Polls. Have. Stopped. Making. Any. Sense.” Silver is one of two poll analysts I follow regularly - the other is Jay Cost at the Weekly Standard. Silver's political leaning is liberal while Cost leans conservative but neither lets that get in the way of what their analysis is telling them. And as I've said before, "poll results" now are all over the map and you HAVE to look at their underlying assumptions. "What polls say" right now are no predictor of anything, at least at the Presidential level.
