Hello!

I don't own CSCO yet, but intent to as soon as the split is effective.
Please let me know the date of split, I intend to sell a loser and put $$ in CSCO.. Thank you, Regine
p.s. the loser is WDC of more than 60% and feel I can make the loss
back w/CSCO...long term of course.

Eric,

Thanks for the split information.

I was out of the country that week--that explains it.

Regards,
Ibexx

Re: Split, I think December 12 is the record date.

Several months ago on this thread I predicted "$97 in '97!!!" for Cisco. That would be 64 2/3 post split. Maybe a contest is in order.

Anyway, looks like December should be a great month for equities in general.

Regards

BTW, you have had amazing patience with that guy dispensing hackneyed drivel with too much holiday cheer. That moniker explains alot, overrweening pride is not a quality that makes for successful investing in the face of markets that can squash you flat, humility (though not fear) is far more useful. Ultimately, that which is good or great makes itself known, no matter how loud the clamor of denial. And....finally....emulating Larry King....is not something savvy poseurs deign....
