I didn't see this tid-bit either on the thread............

Not a big deal......unless you understand how the Canadians sell Booze in Ontario. There ain't no takeouts from the bar.....or sales carry out of any kind...unless it's from the Government via LCBO. So In effect you have every bottle of Booze in Ontario going thru RECON-Plus by Checkfree. Software must work, for the Government to use it.

LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) Automates Reconciliation with CheckFree RECON-Plus for Windows

ATLANTA -- CheckFree Corporation (Nasdaq: CKFR), today announced that the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) will use the CheckFree RECON-Plus(TM) for Windows(R) client/server system for automating reconciliation for its 596 retail outlets located throughout Ontario. The software will be used for cash and credit/debit card reconciliation as well as to better match the shipment and receipt of products between stores.

"We selected RECON-Plus for Windows for our day-to-day operations because its leading-edge client/server technology fits our strategic direction," said LCBO Controller, Carol Lyons. "The flexibility of RECON-Plus for Windows makes it the best solution for our traditional banking reconciliation needs, however we also plan to capitalize on this application to better match the shipment/receipt of products between stores and will consider even further expansion."

By advancing to a real-time, online reconciliation process and knowing its true cash position at all times throughout the day, the LCBO will improve funds management with immediate and accurate funds' availability, reduce the potential for fraud, expedite funds transfers to the provincial government and put funds to work faster at the LCBO.

"By using RECON-Plus for Windows the LCBO has a powerful money management tool that can grow and adapt as needed," said Sean Feeney, general manager of CheckFree's Software Division.
