Intelligent voters have no problem with a voter I.D. law for a presidential election - in fact, they favor that easy method to verify results. Not so bright voters should not be making such an important decision in the first place.

"The ID requirement should only be imposed at least one year before the election so voters have time to get the required ID." I would agree with that.
