This may be true, but I deem it unlikely. Intel has a way of not mentioning their products until they are immediately imminent. AMD usually announces months in advance.

I thought I saw a press release saying that Intel would release 350 and 400 Mhz processors in Q198?

Intel has their 0.25 micron process already producing chips while only IBM? is also producing 0.25 micron.
