The Not Seasonally Adjusted numbers have been trending better than the Seasonally Adjusted ones, so those underlying numbers had to come through. In today's report the Initial Claims (NSA) was 300,661 down 29,702 from Sept. 15.

And the misinformation campaign continues. If we measure unemployment the way they did just a couple decades ago, when they counted people who stopped looking for work as unemployed, unlike today where we assume if you aren't looking then you don't exist, then the numbers tell quite a different story than the fantasy land measurement system of today that is designed to fool the gullible into thinking everything is rosy all the time.
