Hey Cowboy.......internet shopping at Christmas was probably such a small number 300% is meaningless...but that leaves plenty of room for future 300% increases.....just about as far as the eye can see.

Think about it......I've spent nearly 2 k tonight......500 guys & gals like me is a Million Bucks. I'm sure more that 500 people will be doing this 10 years out. If Excite got 1% of my money tonight, $20. More power to'm. I save'd a couple tanks of gas.....and didn't say ba-hum-bug once. Happy Hollidays to ya!

>>>LCOS is suspect profitable.,,,

Profit is one thing.....Lycos has got one....Business model is another.

Excites Model draws 50% more Dollars than Lycos last Q. They are not showing a profit however.....because they paid for Eyeballs..ie AOL So when the dust settles and the AOL Webcrawler deal is finally 'written off' against income. The only thing Excite is gonna be left with is 10 Million Eyeballs. And that's better than making LCOS's 1,000 a day plus at this point in time.
