Reuters carried an article on it a couple of months ago:

Reuters, Thursday, September 11, 1997 at 17:52

LENEXA, Kan., Sept 11 (Reuter) - AmeriResource Technologies
Inc said Thursday that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court has issued a
final decree for its Tomahawk Construction Co subsidiary,
closing the case.
The company said the court issued the decree in Tomahawk's
Chapter 11 case after finalizing the settlement of a claim with
MK-Ferguson of Oak Ridge/U.S. Department of Energy. In June
the company said that Tomahawk would receive $1.85 million from
the settlement.
AmeriResource said the settlement and final decree has
allowed Tomahawk to reduce its liabilities by about $2.3
million, which will have a positive effect on its balance
sheet.
AmeriResource is a consulting and construction firm
specializing in construction management services and economic
development both inside and outside the Native American
community.

Wow, that is strange, Alan. I always place my orders to buy either at the BID or halfway between the BID and the ASK. They can take it or leave it. I have a problem with the spread anyway. Still, my orders are almost always filled within a couple of days. Perhaps if you were just a little more patient? I understand your frustration though. Just a thought.
