Suit yourself. Turns out that folks nowadays aren't very data driven. Science is reduced to ideological issues with an equal number of people saying humans are causing global warming as those who say it's not happening. The data be damned. Scientists look to empirical data to prove the earth is older than 8,000 years, but Creationist insist the Bible says differently and that evolution is also just a silly theory, while the bible says homo sapiens sapiens was created out of thin air one day by God, instead of God creating a more interesting and complex thing like evolution. Economists sit in their ivory towers and throw out data they don't like to "prove" their theory that printing money is the path to prosperity and the masses writhe in delight, while statisticians point out the breadth of the bad data and say something is rotten here...it looks like a pig with lipstick on it. We live in the age of anti-Enlightenment, where stupidity is cool, ignorance is bliss, Reading scores in SATs are down, and every complex issues has to be dumbed down for consumption by the illiterate masses into a nice sounding soundbite. Take off your rose colored glasses. I know at least you are smarter than the anecdotal hopium you have just posted. Don't give me anecdotes and claim that is a valid extrapolation to the whole. Show me broad trends that disprove my theory, you know, ones that are moving from the lower left to the upper right, not upper left to the lower right.
