Now you've hit on it. Both parties are government expansionists. I don't know why the GOP pretends to be otherwise. The only real difference is where they spend the money. The GOP likes to expand the financial and military industrial complexes with more funding and less regulation, whereas, the Dems like to expand the welfare and health care complexes. Both are naked grabs for more power and more government overreach. God save us from politicians, well-meaning or otherwise.
