Pat: >> B/C Cisco has no complete solution. And if you want to believe they won't have one, that's your privilege. <<

Everyone is going to have an xDSL solution.... CSCO falls into that category. If anyone has been talking about CSCO and their competitive threat it's been me for the last 2 years. It's hard to believe that you finally realize that CSCO/ASND/COMS are all going to be players in the market.

>> In Westell's case, the CEO has promised three significant contracts for over six months now and to my knowledge he hasn't delivered yet. <<

With BA, BT and 2 divisions of GTE signed + numerous smaller signings... Westell still has 3 contracts coming. I view this as upside potential.

We both view AMTX and WSTL differently. I didn't have faith in AMTX because a 100 person company would have difficulty building an end-to-end system for the RBOC's.

>> There is no GTE contract for DMT, so there's nothing to take over. <<

So the DMT modems at GTE are being sent home? OK... it looks like a CAP solution now.

>> Because I don't have the luxury of hindsight. You do. <<

< grin > You've had the luxury of talking with experts in this industry for the last 2 years. It seems you feel slighted by the AMTX promises and are now taking it out on Westell. You have gone from total faith in a 100 employee company to wanting to see the contract terms with Westell. I don't blame you for not taking the Westell promises after the reality with AMTX... until later.
